Every city has its special moments and time to sparkle. And, NYC is no exception…..Christmas time is when NYC really shows itself off. I mean, NYC dresses itself up with amazing lights and decorations all throughout the streets. You can see incredible window displays along 5th Ave, (even though I live here, I still take pictures like a tourist), awesome Macys decorations, Rockettes at Radio City Hall, Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center, Grand Central terminal holiday light show and let’s not forget NYC has two of the best Christmas Markets in the world; Union Square and Bryant Park. It’s no wander NYC is notably mentioned as one of the best holiday destinations. As a New Yorker, you may think I’m biased. But, if you don’t believe me, then find out what Travel Channel and Travel & Leisure say about Christmas time in New York.
The holiday season in NYC kicks off with the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade and end with a bang with the ball drop in Times Square. And, there are so many wonderful events I didn’t mention…..jammed packed action and fun! Because Christmas time in NYC should be on your “must do” list, I’m going take you along with me on my Christmas tour around NYC. I’m going to show you what a New York Christmas is really looks like. I’ll show you everything from the decorations to the Christmas markets. I want to give you a real taste of a New York Christmas. And, I want to encourage you to venture and come out to NY. You’ll love it and hopefully (it’s in the work) next year or so I will take you on an awesome NY Christmas experience. It’s going to be really exciting!
So, hold on and get ready for a fun ride! I can’t wait to share my Big Apple lifestyle with you. Leave a comment and let’s chat. Take care for now.
